How to sign in, switch accounts, and reset a forgotten password.

### How to sign in

On the sign-in screen you enter your email and password and click
**Sign in**. If your account has multi-factor authentication set up,
the portal then prompts you for a security key (passkey) or a
verification code from an app (TOTP) — whichever you have configured.

### Switching accounts

The portal keeps exactly one user signed in at a time. To sign in
under a different account, log out first — click your name in the
left-hand sidebar and choose **Log out**. Logging out ends not only
your portal session but also your central sign-in session, so the
next time you sign in the portal asks for a password again and you can
enter different credentials.

### Resetting your password

If you forgot your password, click **Forgot your password?** on the
sign-in screen. You enter your email, receive a password reset link,
and clicking it lets you set a new password directly in the form that
opens.

**Password requirements.** A new password must be at least 12
characters long and contain an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a
digit, and a special character — the same requirement applies both at
registration and when resetting your password.
