# How recurring payments work

A plain explanation of when and how much we charge your card, what happens if you exceed your package, and how to cancel the recurring payment at any time.

ePostman is paid for with a **subscription in advance**, by card — monthly, or
annually at a discount with a 12-month commitment. This page
explains how that works in practice. The binding wording is in the
[Recurring payment terms](/help/en/pravne/podmienky-opakovanych-platieb/).

### What you are paying for

You choose a package and a billing period during registration. Each package
includes a number of invoices sent **per month**; **receiving invoices is always
unlimited** and does not count towards the limit. Package prices for both monthly
and annual billing are in the Price List.

With an annual commitment you pay once every 12 months at a reduced price, but
the **invoice allowance still renews every month** — it is the payment that is
annual, not the allowance.

### When and how much we charge

| | |
|---|---|
| **When** | On the package renewal date — every month, or once every 12 months with an annual commitment |
| **How much** | The price of your package per the Price List |
| **Extra** | If you sent more invoices in a month than the package includes, the difference is settled — monthly, even when you pay annually |
| **With what** | The card you registered at the first payment |

You confirm the first payment during registration, and that is where you consent to
recurring charges. Within 15 days of each settlement we send you an electronic
invoice together with a transmission report.

You can see the exact amount and the next charge date at any time in your profile,
under Billing.

### When your card expires

We track your card's validity and send you an e-mail **14 days and 7 days before
expiry**. You never enter card details with us — you enter the new card directly on
the GoPay payment gateway. If the renewal from the expired card fails, we send you a
payment link where you do that (see "When a payment fails" below).

### When a payment fails

1. **The payment fails** — we send you an e-mail. Your access stays and we may
retry the payment, or ask you to update your details or use another payment
   method.
2. **If the payment still cannot be taken**, we may temporarily restrict or suspend
the paid features until the amount is paid.

Suspension applies to **sending only**. Invoices your business partners send you are
still received — you will not lose any incoming document.

Sending resumes immediately once a valid card is entered and the outstanding amount
is paid.

### How to cancel the recurring payment

Cancel the recurring payment in your profile, where that option is available, or by
e-mail at [sales@slovakodata.sk](mailto:sales@slovakodata.sk). Cancellation applies
to future payments and **any subscription already paid for stays active until the
end of the paid period**.

**Cancelling the recurring payment does not terminate the Agreement.** It only means
we will no longer charge your card automatically — you can keep paying for the
Service by another available payment method. Termination of the Agreement is covered
by clause 8 of the [Terms of Service](/help/en/pravne/vop/).

Cancelling future payments does not release you from paying for the Service you have
already used.
