# Before you start

Three things you need in place.

1. **A console account.** Register your organisation and complete
   verification. Until the account is approved the API returns `403`.
2. **Peppol registration.** Your tax ID must be published in the SMP
   registry so others can send you documents. We handle the registration
   for you.
3. **A SAPI client.** Create one in the console — you receive a
   `client_id` and `client_secret`. The secret is shown only once.

| Production | `https://postman.slovakodata.com` | Live traffic. Invoices are really delivered to buyers. |

**Test on staging first.** A sent invoice cannot be recalled from Peppol.
It can only be cancelled while still in the `PENDING` or `VALIDATING` state. Corrections
are made with a credit note, not a delete.
